If you are charged with the creation of a dog park or perhaps the owner of a doggie day care, we have an assortment of dog park equipment that are sure to win a resounding paw of approval from your canine companions. Here’s a quick look at some of the items we suggest for optimum dog fun.
Our Playground Equipment
We have several Play N Train playground sets that are ideal as dog park equipment. You can opt for a simple two-piece set that includes a 4x4x2 foot table. You can allow dogs to access this by a 4x2x1 foot table or we can add a 4-foot-long ramp.
Our three-piece Play N Train set is quite popular, as well. This includes a low one-foot-high table attached to the two-foot-high table as well as a ramp. Our five-piece Play N Train set is yet another option. With this one, dogs can climb up to a 4x4x4 foot table or access the table with an eight-foot ramp.
Our largest piece, the Play N Train Grandstand, includes two ramps, five tables and two steps. Dogs love climbing and scampering around on this apparatus. We also offer the challenging Play N Train Extra. This includes a two-foot-high platform next to a four-foot high platform and an eight-foot-long ramp as well as a sturdy tunnel that fits under the ramp.
All of the items are very sturdy and built with safety in mind. We make them with pressure-treated wood, and we recommend that you eventually apply a water-repellent stain to these sets, although we also recommend that you wait a few months before applying the stain as treated wood does need time to dry out before staining.

Our Dog Jumps
We highly recommend adding some dog agility single jumps to your mix of dog park equipment. Crafted out of durable PVC, these jumps are easy to adjust so that dogs of all sizes can enjoy them. We also have fun tire jumps in two sizes. Our larger tire jump can be height-adjusted and you have two tire sizes to consider.
We offer a 20-inch tire and a 24-inch tire. The smaller tire is the size used by the United States Dog Agility Association, while the larger size is what would be use at an American Kennel Club dog agility event. We also stock a mini tire jump for those smaller breeds and this mini jump includes a 20-inch tire.
We also have many other types of jumps that you might want to consider. For instance, we have a cool UKC window jump that is a lot of fun and suitable for dogs that have some experience with jumping and agility. You can adjust the jump height from 8 to 20 inches.
Contact Equipment
An agility dog walk can be a fun piece of dog park equipment, providing those human companions remain close by while their pooches head up, across and down the dog walk. The planks are only about a foot wide, so it is important that owners stay nearby unless a dog has experience with agility. The dog walks also are available in miniature size, which might be a good option for dog park equipment.
We also have teeters, both full-size and miniature options, and these can be a lot of fun for dogs of all sizes. We do recommend that teeters only be used at dog parks or daycares where dogs have some experience with agility. Of course, we also have pause tables and A-frames available in regular and miniature sizes, depending on what you might want.
UKC Equipment
The United Kennel Club has a few unique pieces of agility equipment that other organizations just don’t use, and we have them here at Carlson Agility. For instance, we have a sway bridge, a swing plank and a crawl tunnel that might be fun additions to any dog park or day care and definitely a great item for anyone with an agility club.
Any of these pieces of dog park equipment will provide hours of fun for the dogs at your park or facility.
